Bagnaia and Espargaro Doubtful on MotoGP Sprint Race
MotoGP is following in the footsteps of Formula 1 by introducing Sprint races in the premier motorcycle racing. MotoGP sprint races will be half of the total distance and half of the race points.
There will be a slight change in the MotoGP sprint races. In MotoGP, there will be a full season of sprint races unlike Formula 1, which holds only 3 sprint races per season.
Now some ace racers have disliked the idea of having sprint races in MotoGP. Fabio called out the sprint races to be straight stupid. Meanwhile, Espargaro said that MotoGP is not Superbike and will talk to Dorna about the same. Pol Espargaro and Bagnaia also expressed their displeasure and doubt about the success of the sprint model being introduced in MotoGP.
Whatever the case may be, one thing is for sure MotoGP is ready to embrace some changes in the format of premier motorcycle racing and it is up to the racers on accepting the changes.
