Max Verstappen Thinks His Father has Gone Crazy
Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen’s father Jos Verstappen’s WRC journey started a little over a year ago. Fast forward to today, Joe is planning to enter one of the most extreme WRC events, the Ypres Rally in Belgium in a Rally2 Citreon C3.
Max has been always interested in and supported his father’s WRC career but he is now sure about Joe’s decision to participate in the upcoming Ypres Rally. Max thinks that his father, Jos has become crazy!
Jos had a lengthy F1 career before switching to rally racing, with 106 race starts. He frequently disclosed that he retired from Formula One so that he could prepare his kid at the sport’s highest level.
With an 80-point advantage in the standings and the opportunity to defend his championship this year, Max is the current world champion and has taken an interest in rallying.
The 24-year-old reigning champion has been driving his father’s Citreon C3, therefore it is not surprising that the gifted Dutchman mastered rally racing quickly.
Jos admitted that his son swiftly attained the necessary performance level and that he had no hope of surpassing the standard his son had set for himself.
