All New Africa Twin to Enter the Indian Market!

Its been a while since India witnessed some capable off-roader bike. Well, Honda is striving to fill the void. The Japanese automobile in giant has launched an all-new Africa Twin Adventure Sports Bike in India. With the adventure biking segment booming in India, Honda will have an edge over its competitors present in the Indian market.

While India provides different topography and geography for exploration, HMSI Director (Sales & Marketing) Yadvinder Singh Guleria says that the adventure riding community is also evolving at a steady rate.

The Indian variant of the Africa Twin will carry forward the DNA of its Dakar specific setup. Yadvinder Singh Guleria said, ” The Africa Twin tribe with its Dakar Rally DNA is growing in India while enjoying its unmatched all-terrain capabilities and now with the 2022 Africa Twin, the adventure culture is bound to notch up further.”

The new Africa Twin will be powered by a 1082.96 CC engine, with dual-channel ABS, HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control) and Bluetooth connectivity. This year, every Africa Twin will come with Android Auto, as well as improved control options and new colour options: Darkness Black Metallic, Pearl Glare White Tricolour.

Bookings for the new Africa Twin has commenced at almost every Honda Big Wing showroom.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) revealed in a statement that the new motorcycle will enter the Indian market as a CKD (Completly knockdown) model.

The manual transmission version of the 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sports bike costs 16.01 lakh rupees, while the dual-clutch transmission (DCT) variant costs 17.55 lakh rupees.
