Drive Through All Four Districts Of Sikkim in Himalayan Dash Sikkim 2022

Have you ever considered renting a car and embarking on a road trip through Sikkim’s four districts? The Himalayan Dash Sikkim 2022 event, organised by Cougar Motorsports, provides the option to do so. From May 6 to 14, a nine-day self-drive excursion will take place.

The convoy will start in Siliguri and go through Pelling, Lachen, Gurudongmar Lake, Lachung, Yumthang Valley, Gangtok, Nathu La, and Zuluk, among other places. The course will take runners through a variety of spectacular locations, including mountain ranges, old monasteries, waterfall vistas, and lake meadows. The 17th century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery, Rimbi Waterfall, Yuksom (the first capital of Sikkim), and Yumthang Valley will be among the highlights.

Ashish Gupta, the founder of Cougar Motorsports, will lead the convoy. Cougar Motorsports has previously organised similar adventures, with the most recent one taking place in Ladakh. They’ve also put on the Rainforest Challenge (RFC) India, which is one of the country’s most difficult international offroad motorsport events.

So, what are the entry requirements? To participate in the trip, all you need is a valid driver’s licence and any 2WD or 4WD vehicle. These cars must, of course, have a private registration, a current pollution control certificate, and a thorough insurance policy.

To enter the Himalayan Dash Sikkim 2022, you’ll need to pay Rs 1.25 lakh plus 5% GST per person on a twin/double occupancy basis. Please keep in mind that the trip will be limited to a maximum of 10 cars and 20 people, so make your reservations as soon as possible.
