Ex MotoGP rider Bradley Smith survives the hell of an impact
Bradley Smith has spoken out about the “hell of an impact” of his dramatic crash during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and expressed his thanks for surviving.
Last weekend, Smith was engaged in a devastating crash at the start of the 2022 Endurance World Championship’s first round.
“It was a huge hit, and I’m glad I’m still alive.” “Now I’m returning home to begin my rehabilitation.” The Endurance World Championship was an incredible event, even though I didn’t get very far into it.
“It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to feel the overall team spirit of the paddock.” I couldn’t have asked for a finer group of teammates, mechanics, or support staff.
“Christophe Seigneur was unable to avoid colliding with a slow-moving Bradley Smith, while pole-sitter Karel Hanika was delayed when he couldn’t get his YART – Yamaha Official Team EWC entry to fire up,” the Endurance World Championship had previously described the event that hospitalised Smith.
“Seigneur was able to return to the pits on foot, while ex-MotoGP rider Smith was transported to hospital for medical checks as a result of the significant rear hit, having received prompt medical assistance at the side of the track when the field circulated under safety car conditions.”
“Smith did not sustain any significant injuries, but he will be kept in the hospital for observation.”
It was a lucky escape for the Ex MotoGP-rider Smith as he looks to recover and get back to the racing circuit once he recovers. The risk of being involved in crash is always significant when it comes to any Motorsports racing. However the risk on bikes is always greater as even said by Lewis Hamilton of F1 one of the present legends of the sport.
Hopefully he gets back on track soon back with the bikes at full throttle
