Formula 1 returns this week!
After 3 thrilling races, we get our first European race, the iconic Imola Circuit. Ferrari currently leads the championship as Max Verstappen and Redbull face plenty of reliability issues in the new era of Formula 1. Mercedes man George Russell managed to sneak himself into P2 of the world championship.

Imola is one of the Iconic and historic tracks on the F1 calendar. The track has witnessed 69 years of racing on it since its construction. And the Ferrari fans will be expected to be in full support as they rally on their team in the world championship.

This weekend sees the return of the Sprint race, a mini race before the long Sunday race.
Formula 1’s sprint race is a 100km long race that will take place on Saturday. The final order in which the drivers finish the sprint race will determine how the drivers start on Sunday. And the Top 8 drivers, will get points on Sunday.

2nd place – 7 points
3rd place – 6 points
4th place – 5 points
5th place – 4 points
6th place – 3 points
7th place – 2 points
8th place – 1 point

The starting order for the sprint race will be set by the qualifying session on Friday, after the first free practice session, a bit of a shake up in the traditional F1 schedule.
