Leclerc pips Verstappen ahead of Qualifying – Saudi Arabia GP Practice

Leclerc Tops, Mercedes fail to make the top 10 and more

Charles Continued to keep everyone on their toes as the Ferrari driver snatched P1 from Max Verstappen in the Dying moments of Free Practice 3. The Formula 1  drivers continued to get accustomed to the constantly evolving street circuit of Jeddah on Saturday. Max Verstappen and Charles continued to duel it out by constantly outdoing each other’s laps, but it was Leclerc who got the last hit.

The top 4 consisted of the Redbull and Ferrari cars, however, it was the remaining 6 spots that were very much up for discussion. With the Mercedes Power units struggling for pace in the straights, it was Ferrari and Redbull powered machinery in the top 10.

Valtteri Bottas looks like a new driver and he indeed proved to the world just how good he set his car at P5.
Kevin Magnussen finally got time to learn the track with hands-on experience and he put in an impressive P8. He finished the session above both the Mercedes Cars as well as above Fernando Alonso who finished P9.

The bottom half of the table consisted of a sizeable amount of Mercedes powered cars.

The qualifying session promises to be an electric one under the lights in Saudi Arabia. Who will come out on pole? Max Verstappen or Charles Leclerc.
