Hero Motocorp Inducts Fresh Talent in its Team

Hero Motocorp is the only Indian brand to participate and finish in a Dakar Rally. The company is not only a popular brand among the common people of India but also among off-road enthusiasts. Now Hero Motocorp has added 3 new riders to its national Hero MotoSports Rally Team.

The team already had Yuva Kumar and Sathyaraj and with the addition of Tanika Shanbhag, Karan Kumar, and Arun T, the strength will increase to 5 team members in total. All three new entrants are quite versatile and talented when it comes to two-wheeler off-roading.

Karan Kumar, the 23-year-old rider comes from Coimbatore. He is the winner of Round 3 of the Indian National Rally Championship 2022.

Arun T comes from Karnataka. This 23-year-old rider is ruling the Indian National Supercross Championship in the 260cc class.

Tanika Shanbhag, 20 years old from Satara, will be the first female rider to join the Hero MotoSports Rally Team. She has also achieved some great feats in the world of Motorsport.

On the Hero MotoSports Xpulse Rally 200 and the Hero Xpulse 200 4V, the five-rider team will make their competitive debut in Bengaluru’s first round of the Indian National Rally Sprint Championship in the first week of September.
