Husqvarna Motorcycles to Support European Junior E-Motocross Series 2022

Husqvarna Motorcycles announced recently that it will sponsor the European Junior e-Motocross Series, which will begin its second season soon. In 2022, all five rounds of the series will be held in conjunction with the MXGP World Championship, guaranteeing that e-powered motorsport and the true possibilities of e-technology are once again showcased in front of a truly global audience.

The initial series, which took place in 2021 and was produced in partnership with Infront Moto Racing, was a big success and received a lot of attention. The series’ conclusion was a watershed event for Husqvarna Motorcycles, as overall winner Tobias Scharinger rode the new EE 5 machine to victory.

The series provides aspiring young racers with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate on the same circuit as their MXGP stars on the same weekends. In 2022, the European Junior e-Motocross Series will follow the same structure as in 2021, with all 40 riders racing in a timed qualifying session to determine gate pick, followed by two races.

The European Junior e-Motocross Series gets underway on May 29 at the MXGP of Spain, with the following four rounds taking place alongside three additional FIM Motocross World Championship legs. Following that, the rounds will be held in France, Germany, and the Czech Republic, in that order. The last two rounds will be held in the Czech Republic on July 16-17, during a two-day event at the MXGP of the Czech Republic.

To be eligible for the series, riders must compete in at least three rounds, be affiliated with their national federation, and race on a Husqvarna EE 5 or any other qualifying machine. The overall champion will receive a trip for two to the FIM Motocross of Nations in the United States this September. All entrants riding EE 5 motorcycles will get a range of Husqvarna items and accessories.
