Rea has a record of winning six titles and has participated in well over 100 races, making him one of the most established and experienced riders in the WSBK.

Speculations were being made on Rea’s expiring contract with Kawasaki. But the latest news of Rea signing a new deal with Kawasaki, extending his contract for at least 10 years is like a fresh breath for Rea fans.

Although Rea has renewed his contract with Kawasaki, he still feels that the company has lacked in development to some extent, when compared to its rivals like Yamaha and Ducati.
