JK Tyre Signs Two Prodigies Under its Mentortship

JK Tyre is spearheading the development of the motorsport sector in India. For a long time now, the company has been putting in great efforts to provide world-class facilities and training to young motorsport aspirants.

Following the same lines, JK Tyre has recently announced the addition of Ruhaan Alva (15) from Bangalore and Shriya Lohia (14) from Himachal Pradesh to its scholarship program. This decision came after both the prodigies proved their worth multiple times in the domestic races. The addition to the JK Tyres scholarship will prep the young racers for the international racing scenario.

Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraska awardee Shriya Lohia has participated in the FIA Girls on Track event being held at the Paul Ricard Circuit, France. In the recent Rotax Max National Karting Championship round, she gave tough competition to the other racers and became the first girl racer to be at the top podium.

Ruhaan Alva, a 15-year-old from Bangalore, began competing in national-level karting and racing events when he was just 8 years old. In 2021, Ruhaan won the JK Tyre Novice Cup as the winner. With several victories under his belt, Ruhaan will compete in the British F4 Championship and FIA World Motorsport Games in Paul Ricard, France, with the assistance of JK Tyre.

These young talents will join the most illustrious family where they will receive guidance from numerous other young drivers such as Arjun Maini, Yash Aradhya, and Mira Erda in addition to Padamshree Narain Karthikeyan, Arjuna Awardee Gaurav Gill, and veteran of Indian rallying Hari Singh.
