Leaked Porsche Documents

Formula 1 is glamorous, it’s exhilarating. but it’s also secretive. 

A classic example of that is the Porsche deal. 

By now everyone knows the german carmaker who has made some beautiful but fast cars like the 911, the 917, and even the 918, well they’re rumoured to be joining Formula 1. But it’s not official yet. 

Throughout the season we’ve been following a trail of breadcrumbs left behind by the automotive giant. a few weeks back there was a leaked document that showed that Porsche could be buying a 50% stake at Redbull and manufacturing their engines from 2026.

 And the latest bread crumb might be a sign that we’re on the right track. 

Another document shows that Porsche has filed an application at the German patent and Trademark office. The phrase they’re trying to trademark?

F1nally which will be read as FInally. 

This is obviously a play on the fact that the brand will be finally entering Formula 1 . But will they be any good at it? Only time will tell.
