Loeb is coming back to WRC!

Loeb is coming back to WRC!

After enjoying a rather long vacation, Loeb is all set to make his comeback and race in WRC. The news of the return of the nine-time WRC winner legend was making rounds for a long time. According to some recent updates, his return to the realm of WRC has been confirmed!

The Frenchman’s return to the WRC this year has yielded conflicting results. After defeating Toyota’s Sebastien Ogier in a head-to-head contest at Monte Carlo, Loeb’s half-season got off to a remarkable start.

In Portugal, Loeb lost the lead after making a rare mistake that caused him to crash into a wall and total his Puma. When a small engine fire occurred on Loeb’s Puma in Kenya, he was in the lead group and had to retire since his battery power was insufficient to go to the service park.

This return to Acropolis Rally and tackling its gravel roads will be the first time for Loeb in 10 years. He is a three-time Acropolis WRC winner. He won for the first time in 2005 for Citroen and then in 2008 and 2012.

Loeb is a seasoned driver, having ample knowledge of almost every terrain offered by WRC. The return of Loeb will not only make the upcoming WRC race more exciting but will also make other racers sweat in worry.
