Lorenzo makes it to the MotoGP hall of fame

Lorenzo makes it to the MotoGP hall of fame

Lorenzo the legendary Italian is finally being inducted into the hall of Fame. As deserving he is winning five moto racing championship with three MotoGP and two 250CC ones. Lorenzo was already planned to be inducted into the MotoGP Hall of fame alongside Max Biaggi and Hugh Anderson. Then the covid outbreak came. For now, it will be the turn of Lorenzo and Biaggi to be inducted into the hall of fame. Lorenzo will get it on March 26th and Biaggi will get on 1st April. Anderson will be inducted into the hall of fame later in the year of 2022. As for Lorenzo he is simply one of the best when it comes to Motorbike racing. His stellar record speaks for himself. A total of 18 seasons with 3 MotoGP and Two 250 CC Championships. He got a total of 68 wins, 152 podiums, 69 pole positions and 37 fastest laps. This amount of record immensely speaks for his achievements. In fact, the dominance of the Spaniard had been there in the circuit with 44 MotoGP race wins which is only behind Valentino Rossi who has got 56 wins. The records of the Spaniard on Yamaha is something which will be forever cherished no matter what is the race season. His legacy will be forever felt and it would keep touching the heart and a chord with the die-hard MotoGP fans who keep a keen eye on the sport. In this way the name of Lorenzo has become legendary.

His rivalry along with another legendary rider Rossi is also something which really is a stuff of legends. These two have always fought out hard. However, there is not that kind of bitterness like Rossi and Marquez. It would be more of the professional rivalry that Stoner and Rossi had but with a bit more. These two have had an issue with their racing although both of them were teammates at Yamaha and their team together as well as the races are stuff of legendary talk. Well not to forget that the two have had clashes in the year 2010, Sepang in 2015 and 2016. Although it must be remembered that when we look at the record between Rossi and Lorenzo the latter is no way less than the Doctor. If you look at the records of both these teammates then the Spaniard actually outdoes him for the 7 years from 2008-2016. Lorenzo wins in all the single categories having 29 pole position to Rossi’s 15 apart from 88 front row to Rossi’s 50. This in itself shows what kind of control, balance as well as dominance this Spaniard had. It is no surprise that he is being planned to be included in the hall of fame. Also, many people say that speed came naturally to the Spaniard with him getting on the pace from the very beginning. Whereas his rival the Doctor, Rossi also needed a few laps to get heated up to move on the pace. Now being all said and done as the Spaniard is about to be inducted into the hall of fame here is a joke or may be a serious thing coming up from the mouth of Spaniard. He wants to shift into car racing and who knows he may already be a winner there.
