Marc Marquez is Making His Return at Aragon
The day is finally here. After going through surgeries and mending his arm, Marc Marquez is finally set to come to the racing track once again. No, we are not talking about tests and practice sessions, but the real deal.
The world champion Marc Marquez is all set to make his return at the upcoming race at Aragon. Since May, Marc Marquez has been put on hold due to an injury he sustained during his 2020 crash in Jerez. He underwent surgeries to address his injuries and was successful. Marc Marquez followed a rigorous routine to come back to the competitive form.
Earlier his coming back on track was dicey. Even Marc Marquez was not sure if he could make a comeback for the actual racing on the track. But according to the recent press conference hosted by the world champion, his comeback is finally confirmed.
In his press conference, Marc Marquez said, “Hello everyone. Big smile, as you can see. We will be in the Aragon GP – racing, of course. After talking to the doctors to the team, we have decided that the best for my recovery will be to continue it on the bike, adding kilometres for next year.”
His comeback will finally put Stefan Bradl back in his position. Stefan has been substituting Marc Marquez since his absence. Also, since Stefan had earlier indicated that he would like to go back to the testing, Marc Marquez’s return will be a win-win situation for both riders.
Marquez injured his arm in a collision at the Spanish Grand Prix in 2020, and even though he started racing again in April of last year and took three victories, his ailment didn’t completely heal. But since he is now recovered, it seems like the upcoming MotoGP races are going to bring some more heat and excitement.
