Marc Marquez is Set to Return to MotoGP!
Good news coming for the Marquez’s fans. After making everyone wait for quite some time, Marc Marquez has decided to return to the MotoGP lineup to give other racers a tough time.
Marc Marquez, the six-time MotoGP champion has decided to participate in the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix. The extended absence of the world champion had put everyone in doubt about him returning to MotoGP, at least for this season.
According to the most recent update provided by the Repsol Honda team, Marquez will travel to the Austrian race “to reconnect with the team and begin to formulate a strategy for the future,” which corroborated rumours that originally surfaced at last weekend’s British Grand Prix.
The return is subjected to the recovery of the Honda rider. After undergoing arm surgery in June, it seems that everything is going in the right direction. Since Mugello at the end of May, he hasn’t competed in any races. He travelled to Minnesota’s Mayo Clinic for the complex repair, which involved shattering, twisting, and resetting the bone.
Everything seems to be falling in the right place as Marc Marquez has been reported to resume physical exercises along with some light cardio and other fitness plans. While he’s eager to not yet set a timetable for his return to racing, it’s obvious that he’s making steady progress in that direction.
With its drastically altered 2022 vehicle, Honda has only achieved one podium finish so far this season and is currently bottom in the constructors’ standings. The previous five races saw no RCV riders finish in the top six.
Marc Marquez can now begin to experience some relief after having undergone years of unrelenting suffering and uncertainty.
