Marc Marquez is Worried for Repsol Honda
Honda is in a dire state as we speak. So far the racing segment of the Japanese company has been unable to perform as expected by the fans and the racers alike.
Recently Pol Espargaro expressed his dissatisfaction with Repsol Honda. Pol Espargaro said that the company is not taking any interest in its racing counterpart. After Pol, it is Repsol Honda’s star racer Marc Marquez who has expressed his thoughts about the company’s position right now. And thoughts are not in the favour of Repsol Honda.
Marquez explained his decision to travel to Austria for the forthcoming CryptoDATA Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich in the interview. The number 93 has been in continual communication with Honda regarding the RC213V package for next year even if it hasn’t been at a Grand Prix since the Italian GP, especially Crew Chief Santi Hernandez and Test Rider Stefan Bradl.
Marquez will be present in Austria as a result of this. The Spaniard will be concentrating on catching up with his team and discussing the future with Japanese engineers at the Red Bull Ring since Marquez admitted that he previously disconnected too much from the bike’s development when injured.
Marc Marquez said, “Honda is in a critical moment. I am speaking a lot with my team and trying to understand the 2022 bike, the situation and what is happening,” explained Marquez. “This is why I will go to Austria, to speak to everyone and to meet with the HRC staff from Japan to work for the future. We are all working together, we win together, we lose together, and we will come back together.”
Well, things are not looking optimal for the Repsol Honda team. Seeing Marquez back in the MotoGPTM paddock at the Red Bull Ring will be nice before learning more about his recuperation towards the end of August. As things stand, Marquez’s chances of returning to competitive racing before the season’s finale appear to be quite good. Honda and Marquez will be hoping this happens.
