After having all sorts of sponsors, MotoGP is headed towards innovation. Yes, a Romanian crypto company is set to become the title sponsor of MotoGP Austrian Grand Prix. Well, let’s find out more about it.
The Romanian company CryptoDATA Tech, which creates hardware and software cybersecurity solutions based on blockchain technology, will sponsor the Austrian Grand Prix for the following three seasons.
According to a press statement issued by MotoGP on July 25, CryptoDATA Tech will serve as the Grand Prix’s title sponsor and the race will officially be recognised as the CryptoDATA Motorrad Grand Prix of Osterreich.
In particular, the blockchain and encryption-based integrated features of the crypto tech company’s products and services have specific cybersecurity qualities that fit in a range of areas, and they are also environmentally benign.
Ovidiu Toma, a co-founder and the CEO of CryptoDATA Tech, said: “We are incredibly pleased to start our partnership with Dorna Sports as we become the first Romanian company to take over title sponsorship for Grand Prix events.”
Notably, Cryptodata Tech creates customised goods to meet not only the needs of its corporate partners but also those of technology users around the world.
Manel Arroyo, Chief Commercial Officer of Dorna Sports, who also announced the move with CryptoDATA, pointed out that the partnership is appropriate for the sport because MotoGP is built on innovation and progress.
He said, “We’re delighted to announce CryptoDATA as the title sponsor of the Austrian Grand Prix for the next three editions. MotoGP is grounded in innovation and invention, making this the perfect partnership,”
CryptoDATA Tech’s use of blockchain technology to safeguard individual data and online privacy allows for private and secure communication between users and, as a result, among motorsport enthusiasts.
