Royal Enfield is all Set to Jump on the Rally Bandwagon!

After Hero’s active participation in honing the motocross scenario in India, it seems Royal Enfield is all set to jump on the bandwagon.

In recent reports, the news of all new Himalayan is making rounds. The special part of the upcoming Himalayan is its being Rally specific.

The Royal Enfield is one of the most affordable ADV available for Indian customers, who are seeking decent power terrain. Launched in 2016, the Himalayan is pretty much the same. However in 2021, RE revamped the ADV a bit and gave it a sort of facelift, but the specs remained more or less the same.

News is making round that an all-new Himalayan is set to witness a set of changes, which will make the new model significantly different from the traditional Himalayan. The upcoming ADV might get upside down suspensions from Showa. Also, there might be a lot of changes in the design and the power terrain of the bike.

The upcoming Himalayan might get an all-LED setup along with all-new panels, which will make the ADV more appealing to the customers. The engine might get revamped and will produce around 40 PS of power.

According to some information, the upcoming ADV will be manufactured in limited numbers and will offer more confidence to the riders in an off-road situation. The new Himalayan engine will be the first Oil-Cooled engine from the house RE.

It seems like Royal Enfield is finally addressing the need for age-old Himalayan and making it more accessible and relevant to the present modern-day customers. If all the changes, as per the reports are met, Himalayan might just become the best option for the Indian customers looking for an affordable yet modern ADV.
