Sebastian Vettel could be in Formula 1 Management

Following his shock announcement of retirement from Formula 1, it seems that Sebastian Vettel might be offered a role in Management.

The 4-time world champion entered the sport as a young man, a 20-year-old rookie. He drove and was impressed in a BMW Sauber. Since then he’s seen his legacy get built-in Formula 1.

The legend of Vettel

Along with Redbull, he had a period of utter Dominance. He won the world championship 4 times in a row from 2010 to 2013. During those years there were memorable battles with everyone, from his own teammate Mark Webber to the nail-biting 2012 season that had 4 possible winners until the last race. He had seen it all

From there he went to Ferrari where he wanted to recreate what his idol Michael Schumacher achieved.

He never managed to, and he now retires in front of the sport next season.

Formula 1 runs in his veins. He’s a man who loves the traditions and history of the sport and legend no doubt.

This is precisely why he is what Formula 1 needs. He’s vocal about safety and he has been the driver’s safety representative for a while.

Stefano Domenicali would like to have him onboard

Speaking to German publication Bild, F1 CEO Stefano reveals he has already spoken with Vettel and has offered him a role in the management of Formula One.

“Among other things, we talked about his decision and the future. Sebastian will always be associated with Formula 1. And of course, we want that connection to remain close in the future. If he is interested in becoming part of our system and the approaches fit together, I would of course welcome him here. But we already know that, after the season, he wants to sort himself out and enjoy time with his family.”

Having Sebastian Vettel at any major company would be a massive improvement, but Having this Formula 1 legend in Formula 1 Management will surely be one of the best things that could happen to the sport.
